Hartwick Pines Logging Museum

We support the Logging Museum by funding historical programs, purchasing period outfits for staff, and recreating and maintaining historical logging equipment. This is also the location of the steam powered sawmill which the Friends restored, maintain, and operate at select summer events.

Park Historian, Hillary Pine, manages the Logging Museum and provides historical education for Michigan’s logging, early forestry, and CCC heritage.
